為(wei) 啥這麽(me) 多頭部學校，我先看哥大呢？因為(wei) 在大藤裏麵，他的轉學錄取人數還真的不算少。在官網上哥大明確表示，每年有100多名轉學生可以入學。

下麵是哥大推特上的信息，意思是每年差別不大，一般來說有100多轉學生入學，轉學的錄取率不到10%，據傳(chuan) 在6-7%，比哥大自己新生的錄取率還是要好一點點。雖說看上去100多人蠻多的，但是其實裏麵應該有不少是給3+2項目預留的位置，所以，真正衝(chong) 上去申請到入學的人數應該不會(hui) 多。

Columbia Undergraduate Admissions How many students are admitted as transfers?Due to the high retention rate in both Columbia College and Columbia Engineering, there are usually very few spots in the sophomore and junior classes. As a result, we typically admit fewer than 10 percent of those who apply for transfer admission each year. Though the number varies from year to year, in recent years, we have admitted roughly 150 transfers from over 2,500 applicants.

哥大轉學必須用coalition係統，不能用commonAPP，這點蠻奇怪的。哥大明確表示一直到2023-2024這個(ge) 申請年份，標化考試屬於(yu) Test optional。其他需要的材料是：

1. 高中的成績單（必須包含所有就讀的高中）

2. 大學的成績單

3. Coalition係統裏麵的轉學報告

4. Coaliton係統裏麵的活動列表

5. 兩(liang) 封學術推薦信6. 標化考試可遞交，也可不遞交。

哥大的文書(shu) 要求如下： Please note: While the Coalition Essay in the Profile is not required for a complete transfer application, applicants will be asked to upload a 400-600 word essay responding to the following prompt in the Uploads section of the application: · Please explain why you are interested in transferring from your current institution. (The personal essay does not need to be specific to Columbia, but it should inform the committee why you wish to leave your current institution.)

有家長問我，作為(wei) 新生申請時候的文書(shu) 是否能用，一看問題就知道了肯定不一樣了。當然，如果孩子在前麵的申請過程中練會(hui) 了思考方式和寫(xie) 作思路，自己來當然是可以的。

對於(yu) 成績單，哥大明確表示最好由學校用電子的方式傳(chuan) 送。哥大要求至少有24個(ge) 學分，在文理學院不能超64個(ge) 學分，工院不能超過68個(ge) 學分，包括AP或者IB轉換的學分。但是IB或者AP轉換不能超16個(ge) 學分。

同時，如果要申請轉學工院必須至少有：

-兩(liang) 個(ge) 學期的微積分課程

-兩(liang) 個(ge) 學期的物理課程

-一個(ge) 學期的化學課

大家可以看到，除了你高中和大學的成績以外，你的選課以及學分數量還是很重要的。

GPA是核心，官網上學校要求至少3.5，不過實際上3.8都不算夠。
