課程成果
學生將在課程中開發兩(liang) 種類型的論文。

The AP European History course examines European history from 1450 to the present. Students will utilize similar methods to that of historians, such as analyzing primary and secondary sources and developing historical arguments to discover the development of European political institutions, its culture, economy, and society. The course will expose students to the requirements of the AP European History exam and will provide helpful techniques for performing well on the exam.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
Analyze and interpret historical evidence

Develop an essay based on historical documents
Explain the rise and development of modern Europe

Course Outcomes
Students will develop two types of essays during the course.
A document-based essay, utilizing approximately seven documents, that will require students to develop a thesis and use the documents to support their thesis.
A long-form essay based on a prompt, which will require students to use historical evidence from the course to demonstrate their understanding of complexities of European history.
There will also be a certificate of completion provided.
