今年武外英中AS年級秋季期中考試數學（普數班）P1重點考察了以下幾個(ge) 知識點：函數、弧度製、三角函數、數列、圓方程、微分。

01、Series（AP & GP)
數列（等差數列、等比數列）
【常見題型】
A geometric progression, for which the common ratio is positive, has a second term of 18 and a fourth term of 8. Find
(i) the first term and common ratio of the progression, [3]
(ii) the sum to infinity of the progression. [2]

【考點分析】該題考察學生對於(yu) 等差數列與(yu) 等比數列概念及公式的掌握情況。
【思路點撥】首先通過讀題判斷出題目所問的數列是等差數列還是等比數列，然後根據已知信息運用相應的公式（公式表會(hui) 給）求出題目的問題，注意避免出現簡單的計算錯誤。

02、Quadratics（Quadratic equation & inequilitiy）

A curve has equation y = 2x2-3x.
(i)Find the set of values of x for which y>9. [3]
(ii)Express 2x2-3x in the form a(x+b)2+c, where a, b and c are constants, and state the coordinates of the vertex of the curve. [4]
The functions f and g are defined for all real values of x by
f(x) = 2x2-3x and g(x) = 3x+k,
where k is a constant.
(iii)Find the value of k for which the equation gf(x) = 0 has equal roots. [3]

【思路點撥】配完全平方式是初中的基本計算內(nei) 容，解一元二次不等式我們(men) 需要理解為(wei) 拋物線在x軸上方還是下方的部分；第三問有相等的根，是考察判別式的內(nei) 容。

Each year, the value of a certain rare stamp increases by 5% of its value at the beginning of the year. A collector bought the stamp for $10,000 at the beginning of 2005. Find its value at the beginning of 2015 correct to the nearest $100.

【考點分析】該題考察學生對於(yu) 等比數列實際應用題的掌握情況。
【思路點撥】題目中“ increase by” 指的是每年增加5%，common ratio為(wei) 1.05，最後的計算注意用計算器算出。

04、Differentiation（Application of differentiation）
微分（微分的應用）
【常見題型】
A hollow circular cylinder, open at one end, is constructed of thin sheet metal. The total external surface area of the cylinder is 192πcm2. The cylinder has a radius of r cm and a height of hcm.
(i) Express h in terms of r and show that the volume, V , of the cylinder is given by
Given that r can vary,
(ii) find the value of r for which V has a stationary value, [3]
(iii) the this stationary value and determine whether it is a maximum or a minimum. [3]

【考點分析】該題考察了學生運用微分求最大值的實際應用。
【思路點撥】注意Cylinder的表麵積與(yu) 體(ti) 積公式，根據表麵積的大小得到h與(yu) r的關(guan) 係，在體(ti) 積V裏麵將h替換為(wei) r，最後用微分來求最大值/最小值。

【考點分析】該題考察了學生對於(yu) 二項式展開知識點的掌握情況。
【思路點撥】利用二項式展開公式，分別找到(2x^3)項和(1/x^2)的次數，使得它們(men) 的乘積為(wei) x^6。

06、Circular measure（Area of a sector）
弧度製（扇形的麵積）

【考點分析】該題考察了學生弧長與(yu) 扇形麵積的計算。
【思路點撥】第一問利用三角函數的基本定理求出AX長度，第二問用三角形麵積減去扇形麵積，第三問用弧長公式求出arcAB的長度後求周長。

07、Trigonometry（Trigonometric identities and equations）
三角函數（三角恒等式與(yu) 方程）
【常見題型】

【考點分析】該題考察了學生對於(yu) 三角函數恒等式的運用和求解三角函數方程。
【思路點撥】第一問左邊看起來很複雜，先把括號打開後用恒等式把sin和cos分別都湊成三次方就得到了右邊，第二問用第一問右邊的結論就能得到tanx的三次方等於(yu) 1/8，最後解出2個(ge) x的值，注意是degrees形式。

08、Function（Inverse function, Domain & range, Composite function）
函數（反函數、定義(yi) 域和值域、複合函數）
【常見題型】

【考點分析】該題考察了學生二次函數的配方、複合函數反推原始函數、反函數的求法，以及反函數的domain。
【思路點撥】第二問利用第一問的結論，很快可以得到g(x)就是2x+3；第三問依然是通過第一問配方後的式子求出反函數。不要忘記正負號的判斷，最後通過求原函數的range，得到反函數的domain。

09、Trigonometry（Trigonometric functions）
三角函數
【常見題型】

【考點分析】該題考察了學生三角函數的圖像變換。
【思路點撥】三角函數圖像變換要從(cong) 最靠近x開始，sinx變成了2sinx，又變成了-2sinx，最後整體(ti) +3，按照這個(ge) 順序就能畫出f的圖像。

010、Geometry（Circle）
幾何（圓）
【常見題型】
The coordinates of the points A and B are (-1, -2) and (7, 4) respectively.
(i) Find the equation of the circle, C, for which AB is a diameter. [4]
(ii) Find the equation of the tangent, T, to circle C at the point B. [4]
(iii) Find the equation of the circle which is the reflection of circle C in the line T. [3]

【考點分析】該題考察了學生對圓的方程和性質的掌握。
【思路點撥】diameter是直徑的意思，第一問通過中點公式就能得到圓心坐標，兩(liang) 點間距離公式能得到半徑，第三問新的圓是圓C的翻折，說明半徑沒有變，變化的隻有圓心。
